I started with setting up a new startup program at DB mindbox for maintenance-related topics in railway. The startup Eco Adapt developed a solution to determine electric motors' and connected parts' current health by measuring the current. The rotary motion leads to clear signals on the sinusoid. I saw the potential to transfer the idea of measuring electric generators' health in wind turbines to electric motors in trains. With the help of long-distance trains and the maintenance facilities, I set up a successful proof of concept for Eco Adapt and their technology within trains.
